Green Fingers?!?!

Over the weekends, we noticed a flower and some buds on our chilli plants. Yes, we are excited but at the same time not getting our hopes too high as we have noticed that some of the leaves are turning yellow and some had dropped. As for the daisies ... nothing has sprouted yet.

When will we be able to harvest our first chilli

Yeah we had the luxury of having mooncakes (from Raffles Hotel, Singapore) and sipping green tea :-) during 中秋节 Special thanks to mommy n daddy (ken's parents) who hand carried them all the way to Melbourne for us! Too bad the moon wasn't in sight tonight and it was raining. Heh good thing we didn't spend money on buying some paper laterns. Anyway we did have fun with some tea lights.

The Royal Melbourne Show 2005

Loads of photos on this post so be patient while its loading. On Friday we went to The Royal Melbourne Show and had a great time. It is an annual agricultural event to promote and display livestock, produce and rural merchandise. It also has games & rides to attract the young and old. There was also a huge variety of showbags for sale. We were tempted to buy a couple of the showbags which ranges from chocolates (Ken's fav - Cadbury showbag) to fishing equipment (worth $50 but said to contain $300 plus worth of fishing stuff). In the end we bought a showbag which has 100 sticks of incense for $10. We decided to buy it coz our living area smells like a kitchen. ;-P Oh the highlight of this event for us was the Bengal Cats. Amazing!! We have decided if we were to have a cat, it HAS to be a Bengal Cat. The kittens were retailing for $800 each. Trust me once you see them (I've got pictures & videos), you will know what I mean.

It was a pretty cloudy and cold day

Posuer's Nite

On Sunday (11 Sept) we attended the Nike X Stussy Court Forces Party at Someday Gallery. Not bad ... we had fun although we didn't know anyone though we could recognise a few familiar faces from the sneaker queues and sneaker shops around here.

Our lucky numbers weren't that lucky after all. We did not win any kicks that night.
