Annual Raspberry Fair

This morning we were off to Kinglake Raspberries Annual Raspberry Fair. The drive there took slightly less than 1.5 hrs and we went through Kinglake National Park. It was nice going through the National Park as you could hear birds chirping and the trees provided such good shade.

When we arrived at Kinglake Raspberries there were so many vehicles and families. So we decided to quickly go pick Raspberries. 1KG cost us A$11.50 and we picked A$7.80 worth in about an hour. It is no easy task especially under the noon sun and since it was summer, there were no shortage of houseflies too. Oh they do sell raspberries too if you prefer the easy way - 1KG of machine picked raspberries cost A$12.00 and 1KG of hand picked raspberries by the Plantation cost A$18.00.
